In moments of stillness, meaning reveals itself. This compact resting Nandi figurine by Shambhavi Creations embodies that quiet presence through the timeless language of Bastar Dokra art.
Handcrafted in brass, this sculpture captures Nandi in a calm, grounded posture — symbolising devotion, patience, and inner balance. The delicately raised face, softly curved horns, and hand-applied red and green accents lend warmth and character, while the textured surface preserves the authenticity of traditional metal casting.
Designed for intimate spaces, this Nandi is perfect for desks, shelves, and personal prayer corners. Every piece carries subtle variations, reminding us that true beauty lies in the human touch and the slow rhythm of handcrafted creation.

Dust with a dry, soft cloth. For a deeper clean use tamarind paste or lemon and salt, then rinse and dry at once. Brass darkens into a patina with age — many collectors prefer it. Avoid chemical polishes on the coil detail.
Each casting needs its own clay mould, broken to release the metal. Coil spacing, surface texture and tone vary piece to piece. That variation is the craft's signature, not a fault.
